Last night's Tri tip
« Reply #-1 on: December 07, 2013, 01:08:18 PM »
Hello all,
Got home late. Wife was out last night. Made for a great time hanging out with my 19 yr old daughter.

Seasoned and ready for some smoke

Smoked at 180 for 60 mins on the DreamWerks. (next time will smoke at 160 for 90)

Moved it over to the gasser at 500 for about 10-15 mins(flipped it at 8 mins) till internal hit 128

Let it rest for 15 mins and opened something to wash it down. (She had iced tea ;))

Looks perfect to me. Got any shots of your smoker? Not familiar with that one.

Thanks.  It made for a great evening.  Now that the kids are older, tough to get time with them.  Good eats always helps with that though.

I've only had the DreamWerks for a few weeks now. Really enjoying it.  With the Savannah Stoker, it holds temps spot on. Swings are almost non existant.  It cranks out the pretty blue stuff like nobody's business. No overshoot on start up.  So far I couldn't be happier with it.
