Great News About BACON
« Reply #-1 on: December 14, 2013, 01:36:44 PM »
Now just among us buddies here I think I could say that a lot of us already suspected this and might even be "living legends" of the longevity benefits of our favorite food.  However, here's a study just in case there were any doubts.  I think I've eaten enough bacon to make me the next Methusalah  ::)

If your doctor gives you any grief, send him the URL above and have him check it out.

My favorite stories are of the 100 year old guy who eats bacon and eggs everyday, smokes unfiltered Pall Malls, doesn't exercise, and enjoys a cocktail. And has never seen a doctor. ;D

Kind of like the studies that say if you have 2 drinks a day you will add 5 years to your life. If 2 drinks add 5 years, I am going to be 200 years old, now adding bacon I am going to live forever.

You either love bacon, or you are simply WRONG!

Ed

PS: I attribute my youthful complexion, and my athleticism at age 71 and my exceedingly high testosterone levels to bacon.
