BamaPat fixed a big ole' pot of killer chili with some leftover brisket.  This was fantastic! :P
This was from the Prime Brisket I cooked here:  http://www.letstalkbbq.com/index.php?topic=21128.0
Can't beat the smokey flavor the brisket brings to the table.

Man that chili looks delicious.
I've been craving chili, but it has been pretty warm here. (I usually reserve chili for... well, chili weather :D :D)
That looks so good I may have to rush my chili season in. :)

BamaPat coarsely shredded half of the brisket and the other half was small chunks.  I topped mine with a dollop of sour cream and some Louisiana gold with some raw sweet onions.  We have leftover chili so I'm having leftover leftovers for lunch today!    ;D ;D

Here's the recipe it was based on, we left out the corn & coffee.  For the beans we started with variety dried beans, soaked them in water & baking soda all night, and added a can of black beans.  Left out the cumin, can be a dominating flavor for us.  Used Cayenne pepper powder instead of chipotle, but the chipotle does sound good, just didn't' have any.

your total cook on this prime brisket has been beautiful .  Ms BP has crowned this with a delicious looking chili.  Brisket @ Costco here is choice and over $4.00/#---- have never seen a prime brisket@ Costco here.

No chili stacks up to brisket chili in my opinion - yours looks outstanding.

Yep, we like to think of it as chili stew, not chili soup.   ;) :P

bb, you can't get anything that good at Taco Bell. I could probably eat two of them.
