Title: Chicken on the PBC Jr
Post by: Hank_Moody on January 13, 2018, 06:28:31 PM
Smoked a whole chicken on my PBC Jr and it came out pretty tasty. I used Rufus Teague Meat Rub and I also used bbq sauce (Famous Dave’s sweet & zesty) on half the chicken, per my wife’s request. Chicken was marinated in a wet brine overnight (1 gal water, 1 cup Kosher salt, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Pepper, 1 cayenne pepper tablespoon, & 1/3 cup soy sauce).(http://)

Now that is how it should be done. I hate dry white meat and I bet that was moist to the breast bone. I'll take a half bird
