New Video/Photo Tripod Head
« Reply #-1 on: November 17, 2017, 05:12:53 PM »

Since I am doing more and more videos I decided I needed to get a dedicated video head for my tripod.
My original Manfrotto photo head works good for photos, but not so well for videos. I knew this was
going to be a larger tripod head, but I really wasn't expecting it to be monster size. Very easy to set up and
level. The quick release plate is way too long for my camera so I picked up a couple of Arca Swiss adapters
and installed them on the Manfrotto quick release plate. Works much better and now I can just pop the camera
on and off with no problems. One of the main things I like about this video head that once you get it balanced
it will remain balanced as long as you don't adjust the settings on the side of the head. If you tilt the head down
or up and release the handle it will always go back to the level state. Here is the link to the product at B&H photo.

As Col. Sherman T. Potter said: "Not enough O's in "smooth" to describe this."

I know that you will enjoy it!
