I'm right there with you. When my Dad found out that me and my motley crew were en rout to Woodstock, he said "you knuckleheads don't have the good sense God gave a grapefruit".

 I'm headed to a happy place after lunch. Last couple days of deer season so I'm headed to the woods.   No one else could make it so I'll have the whole place to myself for two days ....

Missed that one, but made it to the Woodstock of the South . . . August Jam at Charlotte-Motor Speedway.  Nothing quite like seeing Keith Emerson and his Grand Piano flying and spinning.

Let's see, Woodstock was in August 1969. Had to miss it - couldn't get transportation (but learned that good nighttime air support by Puff or Spooky was psychedelic in its own right).

Just sayin'...

Missed that one but saw the opening of the super dome after college, allman bros, wet willie, charlie Daniels and the Marshall tucker band. Of course the allman bros where the headliners.
