B + B Char-Logs...yes
« Reply #-1 on: February 16, 2018, 01:51:16 PM »
Hey y'all, I smoked some beef riblets yesterday using Kingsford Briquettes and B + B Char-logs (found 'em at Academic Sports).

Results were real good and I will use them again in this combination.

The video quality is not so good, but don't know why this time.  It is 5 1/2 minutes (yawn) and that is the edited version.  It is just to give you an idea of the setup, etc.

Looks great Jack.  Looked like there is a couple hours left on your charcoal, Could do a butt in there no problem.
Glad you pointed out the air flow issue. I would have definitely had the same issue if you had not.
Good job a I wish I had some of those ribs....

Jaxon - great video and review of the Char Logs.  Those ribs look absolutely fantastic. After watching that, my lunch does not look so tasty  :D

Great video Jack! I will have to remember to visit Academy sports the next time I am up your way. That is the closest one to me other than Jacksonville.

The riblets look good, and the char logs did a nice job.  It had to be a fun day.

Nice Jaxon, great looking cook for sure. When the temps get above 40 below here I just might try something like that  :D
