Sandman's Karubecue Beef Ribs
« Reply #-1 on: July 21, 2016, 12:54:26 PM »
I have been waiting on my friend Brad, (Sandman), to do a cook on his Karubecue and hoping for a little sample too! :)

When I went through his carryout for beer he said he had a sample for me. It was some beef ribs he had done on the Karubecue. I ask him if he got pics to post; he said he just got a new phone and didn’t have it set up so told me if I wanted to post go ahead.

I had to sample it when I got home; I cut a piece off and nuked it about 20 seconds.  It looked as if it was all smoke ring and was it ever good! I don’t know how he seasoned it but just right and did not cover up the beefy taste. Maybe he will give us some of the details on the cook.

I will finish the rest of it for my lunch in a while.

My lunch is over and the ribs are history!! Thanks for lunch Brad!!!

I certainly hope the ones I am cooking this Saturday will look as good.  I am having two couples over on Saturday for beef bones.  Mr. and Mrs. Tee, and Mr. and Mrs. Hub.  Film to follow.

Thanks for the post Don! GFS store just started selling these ribs calling them "petite beef chuck ribs". Not as much meat on them as I have otherwise seen. I only seasoned them with s/p and cooked them 3 hours at 225f. They did turn out really good and not dry at all. Next time I will pull the membrane off the back. That got really tough.
