Mike can you cook the corn In a foodsaver bag with out the Sous Vide equipment. just for us that don't have the time or money to get into it.
You could babysit the water temp manually and that should work. It is fantastic for corn

I am sure you could but maintaing the exact temp on the stove could prove to be difficult although exact temp is probably not too critical with corn.

I've seen a video, and even attempted, cooking steak in a beer cooler. It's a pain to keep in the zone. And with the high temp needed for corn I think simply boiling them would be the easiest way. Corn is roughly 185ish, and boiling water is always 212. Keep it vacume sealed to keep from diluting the flavors. You teally do need a machine for the high temps for corn.
