I got a small one
« Reply #-1 on: January 26, 2017, 07:52:02 AM »
Hi guys..I got a new electric smoker..a small tabletop model..it's a Masterbuilt..I'm downsizing..it has only 2 racks..just hubby and I and baby..and it's too much trouble to dig out the big one.
I need to know how I season it. Do I just rub oil on the inside and then let it season? I havent' seasoned in years and I forgot so any help will be appreciated..not many instructions but I can handle this. Am anxious to see how this small one works  Gonna smoke some cheese first with the amaz'n smoker, then a pork roast and chicken.
This is gonna be great at the camp ground.. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

I would just fill the tray with chips and run it a couple of times with good smoke going.

Pam, the instructions that came with it should tell you how to season it.  It just involves heating it to max temp for a period, then adding some wood chips.

I just saw this smoker on QVC.
It works like our 40" model - just a smaller verdion.
You're right...it should be just right for y'all.
