Just bought a BigBite
« Reply #-1 on: January 10, 2018, 08:53:17 PM »
Over the holidays I decided I needed a meat grinder.  Read the postings here and elsewhere; watched a lot of youtube videos and considered a lot of different makes of #8 (what I needed)  and #12 (what I wanted) grinders.  After looking at Guide Gear, Thunderbird, LEM, Cabelas, Weston, Kitchener, and a couple of others.  I found the LEM #8 on sale and ordered it today. Seemed like a good price to me.

Great grinder. I've got the LEM mighty bite (the cheaper one) & it's a good grinder.
I'm sure yours is even better.

The nice feature of the Mighty Bite#8 is that it has a reverse, a stuffing speed as well as grind. Not many have the reverse and stuff speeds.

You're going to like it, I'm sure.  The Big Bite series is the only #8 grinder that I've ever been impressed with.

Speaking of grinders... I'll be pulling my Cabelas grinder out this evening, as I have some fresh venison to grind up. ;)

We heard some chatter about a great hunter. But no pictures so I guess it didn't happen.

LOL!  It happened, I was waiting to get the stuff ground and a couple more pics, and was planning to post tomorrow.
