One other thing to try because YouTube changed their security method some time ago is to remove the "s" in the url.  For example, if you have a YouTube loaded, you can capture the url in the browser address bar.  It will look something like this

Code: [Select]
https://www.youtube...
Remove the "s" from the https so it looks like this:

Code: [Select]
http://www.youtube...
...and just paste the entire url into your forum post. Your video should show in most web applications that support web videos.

For example, if I just paste muebe's browser url into this post, it looks like this:

However, if I remove the "s" in the same url, it displays properly, like this:

First: Yes, that security change is one of the changes I was talking about that's keeping the plugin from doing it's job the way it should.

Second: Dropping the "s" is not the best solution because it's not supported by all operating systems & browsers and is partially dependent upon security settings.  On one computer, I can't see the embedded video nor even the link in FireFox. It's just blank.

The bottom line is embedding the video is NOT that important.  For now please either just post the link with the "s" so everyone can at least click on it and go to the video, or...   use the share option and copy/paste that link into your post.
