Air Fryer Honey Chipotle Chicken Breasts
« Reply #-1 on: January 30, 2017, 08:44:23 PM »
Dinner tonight is Honey Chipotle Chicken Breasts cooked in my NuWave Brio Air Fryer.

This is one breast cut in half. These breasts came from the shipment of chicken breasts that I got from Zaycon Foods. All the
breasts are at least this larger or larger. I brined the breasts in a buttermilk bath for about 4 hours. I then lightly coated the
breasts with EVOO and seasoned them with some Honey Chipotle rub that my wife picked up when she was in Seattle.  I set
the Brio to 360 degrees on preheat and a time of 15 minutes. I checked them at the 15 minute mark and the thickest part was
still not up to temp. I gave them 3 more minutes of cooking time and they were ready.

My plate with a tossed salad.

The breasts were very tasty and juicy. The rub didn't give it much of a flavor but then again I didn't use very much. Overall it was
a great meal.

That looks great!

You know I was thinking Mike...( Not too much - I get a headache.... ;D ) Why couldn't you cold smoke something...then Air Fry it?

Oh I am sure you can Tim. I will give that a try with the next batch of chicken or chops I do. I was just too lazy today and it was too cold at 48 degrees for me to venture outside!  8) ;)

Mike I agree and that's another justification for the Air Fryer. :)

That a fine meal you did and I would like a plate of that.
