The more we read about stuff like this the more I realize the value of the local butchers I frequent who raise the animals locally & process the meat themselves.


If you want an eye opening view of what we have done to our food supply in this country, rent the movie, "Food, Inc."  If you have Netflix or Amazon Prime, it's available for streaming.

I will warn you, though, I could NOT watch the whole documentary in one sitting.

Unfortunately the use of antibiotics in people & animals selects for bugs that are resistant.
Enen killing the bugs we normally have allows unusual bugs to take there place.
Always cook any ground meat to 165F
