A little History...
« Reply #-1 on: April 10, 2013, 09:07:11 PM »
Back in 2004 I was at a friends house that was heavy into smoking and I was heavy into eating what he smoked! I loved the food but really didn't have time to do it until I saw his NEW  pellet grill. I bought mine, Lil Tex, about a week later. There was 1 dealer in Wisconsin and I had to drive 2 hours to get it. Within a year or so I started working on pellets and 7 years later here we are.  We Only make 2 types of pellets. Our Perfect Mix which is a Hickory based blend with Cherry, Hard Maple and Apple. And our 100% Hickory... Nothing but hickory in it! No oak or alder fillers in either type.
We have about 26 or so dealers across the country, a couple of them sponsor this site.
We want to be your "daily driver" pellet. I think using different pellets on different meats and things is great but, when it comes down to great flavor on short cooks or long smokes on a daily basis we hope you've got our pellets in your hopper.
Enough with the advertising. I really didn't sponsor to do just that. I wanted to help answer questions and share what we've done using our pellets.
And to help you find our dealers and offer up specials and some swag every once and a while!
So if I can help ... just ask. I'll do my best.
Thanks for the support.

Chris I got 6 bags of your perfect mix out in my shed. I have yet to try them because I am finishing off my Bear Mountain stash. Once I get to using them I will let you know what I think.

I have about 200lbs in my garage. When I got my Traeger, I also got some pellets with it. They just didn't smell right when I used them. Before I ran out I took advantage of your free shipping the two times it has come up since I've had my pooper. If I can help it, it will never use the Traeger pellets over the Perfect Mix. Night and day difference in flavor and the smell that the smoke produces.
So when is the next fee shipping promo. I'm in like Flynn again ;) ;D

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris on his way to the American Royal back in 2010.   We did a little 'interstate commerce'. (literally)   ;)

560 pounds!

And Chris dug up some CookinPellets swag..    ;D

Much cheaper than paying FedEx freight, and only got a couple dirty looks from a passing cop...    8)

ANSWERS...
Pappymn I am in the middle of a talk with a guy now but, shipping is pretty fair. You can go to cookinpellets.com and add what ever you need to the cart and then check your cart and just under what you are going to buy you can check freight costs. You will see Fedex and SpeeDee ... SpeeDee will be best.

Sparky , I have a few dealers in Cali and they set their price.  And if you buy from me the shipping will kill you... I don't make a dime on the shipping either!
