I got home last night (Sunday). The surgery was NOT as minor as I thought and the hospital stay was longer than expected. I had "stubbed" my toe about three weeks ago and waited a week before having it attended to. Come to find out it was an open fracture and had developed an infection. Surgeon cleaned and reset the bone, but lab work detected a bone infection. So, for the next three weeks I will be on intravenous antibiotics, two kinds, three times a day.

Now that you are taking antibiotic you must be careful not to cut yourself .

It's crazy sometimes how just a little minor thing can turn into something bigger. Infections can be dangerous if they get into the blood!

Even though things were not as minor as you expected glad to hear your back and doing well Rummm.

Probiotics or active culture yogurt keeps gut working those antibiotics even kill the bacteria that you need to keep things moving.
