In case our members are wondering, there are two options for uploading photos. Just click on the "Attachments and other options" to attach a file saved on your computer, or you may use the photobucket attachment option. If you have a photobucket account, enter your username and password, to attach images from your account.

Question for the Admin. If I upload pics from my puter, can I get hacked that way? I had a photobucket account but don't like all that moving pics around. Make me feel like I'm in the dark ages again.

PB has pretty good step by step instructions for loading photos. The one thing I highly reccommend is to name the folders that you wish to put the shots into - so that you can find them faster when you go back into PB. You can choose a system that works for you. I like to create topic folders, i.e. view, cooking, kids, dogs, etc...

Once the pictures reside on PB - you pick one, put your cursor over it,and a drop down will appear. Scroll down to the bottom of it, and click on the "img (image) link"
Then, go to the body of your message to post, and click on your mouse to post it. Than simple.

But, it may take you a little practice to get comfortable with it - but once you use it a few times, you will wonder why you worked so hard to do it any other way.

The one downside is that it will automatically re-size the shot. So - if it is a good one that you want to keep a larger version of - make a copy of it, and then load the copy to PB.

Let me know if I can be of any help!

Google's Picasa works good as well.   They even have a Windows client program for editing/tweaking and uploading.

This is what it looks like in the Web Browser.

Easy to embed photos...   Just use the link they provide.  (check 'image only', and I select 'Large' for the size, and copy from the "Embed Image" box)

Looks like this in the post:

I may have to figure out how to resize, that pic is scary that big...... :o
this is a pic of me (left) and my German brother in law taken at a Monestary in Bavaria where they make their own beer - had to walk 5km up the side of a mountain to get to it, but it was worth it.
