No numbers anymore. Fired it up yesterday and when I use lump charcoal I get a lot of sparklers blowing out. Lot of them landed on the shelves, I thought it would leave some little burn marks on them, but wiped up with no problems. I did some brats and grilled onions/peppers tonight and turned out great. I used a 12" oval comal to grill the veggies and it worked very well. Afterwards, I put a whole chicken seasoned with Maceo's Honey Brown's BBQ rub on using indirect cooking and it's coming along nicely.

Gonna look for that bucket at local HD tomorrow, thanks!
I'm surprised that yours doesn't have numbers because I have been seeing some posts on the PK grill FB page that shows the build date and number on the back side of the lid on the newest 360's with the black shelves.  There was one person who got l think #208 and some BBQ store in TX had 600 and something.

Did you ever find the bucket that I talked about?

Slap me silly, I just went outside and checked the back of the lid, and sure enough "11-20-16 #656" engraved on a kinda plate. I didn't pay attention to it while putting it together.

Yep, got the can, bent the wire bail enough and it hangs perfectly on the ears of the grill

Well, I'm glad that you found the number and I'm glad that PK continued to put numbers on the grills because I think initially, they only planned on putting them on the limited edition grills.  I have #73

I'm glad the bucket worked out.  In my opinion, it's the perfect size.

So what are the results with the new PK 360 grill?  Is it better for two zone cooking (indirect) or direct.  Is the cooking grate too close to the charcoal grate (resulting in burned food)?  Does it work better with charcoal briquets or lump?  How about the optional grill grates, anyone try those?

Here is a metal bucket I bought at Home Depot that works very well with the PK360 for sweeping the ash into.  Here is a link. http://www.homedepot.com/p/United-Solutions-5-qt-Metal-Pail-with-Handle-PN0129/300236365
I just bent the handle down a little so the sides near the attachment point flared out slightly and it fits perfectly over the two hooks on either side of the ash sweepout hole in the bottom of the grill.  I just leave mine attached after dumping the ash.

After watching the bucket rust badly, I found this on Amazon today that fits the bill.

I haven't even payed attention to my bucket.  I have one of the new PK covers on my grill as well as it sits under a carport so it doesn't get much weather on it.  If it starts rusting, I will get the Amazon one.
