4K Timelapse
« Reply #-1 on: December 05, 2017, 06:22:02 PM »
I was playing around with the settings on my Olympus EM-5 Mark II today and I found a 4K timelapse mode.
It actually worked very well except for a couple of small bleeps towards the end. I need to use this camera a lot more.

I see Vimeo made this a lot smaller than it shows on my 1080p monitor. If you it the "cross" box next to Vimeo it will enlarge.

Pretty neat, I liked the way the shawdow of the tree changed as time went on
What was the total time lapse?  Can you set the frequency of when it takes a shot?
Sometimes you have to go in a circle to reach your destination.

Very cool Mike! I knew you were a camera buff after seeing one of those videos with you walking around with a gimbal ;)

I need to try that on that little Sony cam, it has that feature as well. It also has a gps showing the path I take. Gadgets, gotta love'em!

A revolving door of cookers and smokers. Some are keepers, some are here today, gone tomorrow!

Total time was 1:10. I didn't cut anything out. On my camera I can shoot 4K only at 5 frames per second.
If I was shooting 1080P I can shoot either 5, 10 or 15 frames per second.

Thats cool!  Point it to the stars (if you don't have too much light pollution), its pretty neat to see the stars moving.

I like seeing Alaska time lapses, showing the sun rise and set or never set at all in the summer.  Endless ideas on how to use that!
