« Reply #-1 on: January 19, 2018, 08:38:10 AM »
Saw a video for the newly redesigned Smoke Pro Pellet Grill. It features a a sliding Heat deflector that slides from a external control on  the pellet grill that allows for easy searing also has newly designed legs that look more sturdy.

I love the sliding heat deflector feature! Wish every pellet grill manufacturer offered some form of the same. Seems like a no-brainer :)

I agree.  I added a couple of airflow managers on the drip pan and a couple under.

We are going to "upgrade" our current pellet grill down the road when I start collecting Social Security.

We are slowly weaning ourselves off of charcoal. I got wood splits for smoking (when I have time and energy) and plenty of pellets. We have a equipment store down the road that is a GMG Dealer and they stock Lumberjack pellets.

We are looking to make pellet cooking our main way of doing things and this Camp Chef upgrade for grilling has to be considered.

That sear feature is nice. That's the main reason I got that Pit Boss 700 (that and the $250.00 price, lol).
A revolving door of cookers and smokers. Some are keepers, some are here today, gone tomorrow!
