Just noticed that when I logged on I had 17 unread messages and 11 of them (@65%) were new member introductions.  This is definitely becoming the "in" place.  Helluva job, tee and the rest.

I think we are gaining some momentum Turtle. Word is spreading that we are open to all kinds of cooking on all kinds of equipment. And - we do not run the site in a Nazi-like manner.  Just real folks - that like to cookout with their friends ;)

Great job Tee. Love new people. I do have to tell you that another forum I am on has had a noticeable drop in posts. Nothing scientific, just an observation.

Must be doing something right. ;)

Thanks Pappy - but, seriously...I just sweep around hers, and make sure the lights stay turned on... :)

It is YOU guys and gals that have the power to keep this place on the grow- and with the right kinds of folks. They are still out there - wishing they had a better place to hang their hat. Some place where all brands are welcome - and you need not feel trepidation in posting. No one is going to be arrogant, and make you feel that you have to defend your post. ;)

While members make up a forum...friends make a community. LTBBQ has definitely become a community of friends. Heck - we even allow Turtles :D

There's a certain amount of truth in all those answers.  You can debate them for a couple of weeks while SWMBO and I are doing a Caribbean cruise (love those beaches and palm trees) and a Key West road trip (so I can go down to Captain Tony's to get out of the sun).  See you after a while.
