Congratulations Cliff and great choice Smoke!

I got the pleasure to have a couple of phone calls with Cliff the other evening and as soon as I got off the phone with him, I said to myself, I said "Self, this guy has just got to me a moderator round here" so I sent Tee a pm asking him to consider it. Being the highly intelligent type, Tee made Cliff a moderator right away!!

Of course I had to promise to not send a bottle of Tendarub to Cliff to celebrate his new position...........................

Hey, have I told you about this new rub I tried the other day........

I met Cliff at the Fall Gathering and spent a good bit of time with him around the grill.  He REALLY knows what he's doing and HOW to do it.

Y'all made a great choice.

CONGRATULATIONS Cliff!

I think that we should give Cliff a post to remove to test his skills.

And..that is a nice "add-on"...but, the truth is - Cliff - like Smoke - is someone that see being a Moderator as an opportunity to help others. Not a "policeman" as is sometime the case on discussion forums. We just want to make sure that everyone is getting the help they need in a timely fashion. I am across the country in TX right now - so I cannot feel that I am able to give LTBBQ the attention it needs, and Smoke needed some help.....
Cliff is a truly nice guy. We are lucky to have both Smoke and Cliff.

I've noticed that the quality of the photos on the forum is not always up to the standards we should be striving to achieve.  Therefore I suggest that the "powers that be" appoint a photo manager/art director to assist us in making that effort.

I nominate dee for the position (no surprise there).

ps- Don't worry, Art; he won't be directing you.

Cliff and I had our head to head when I changed the setting on the cooker when I took his self brined ham off the grill and put on some Scotch eggs. Thought he was gonna have a heart a stroke. He didn't and even forgave me. We kissed and made up and all is fine. He knows a lot about the behind the scene stuff that most people don't even think about, but with food allergies, he has to. But we do make good sausage gravy and biscuits together. Congrats Cliff. Cya in September. Happy Holidays to you and yours. Tell Tammy Hi for me.  Pam ☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི
