BBQ America
« Reply #-1 on: April 29, 2014, 06:40:05 AM »
The inaugural issue of "BBQ America" is out. It's a slick looking, full-color glossy magazine and I'm proud to be one of the contributing writers.

The magazine will come out every two months. It's the first exclusively BBQ mag since I was editing "The BBQer" years ago. That mag merged with "Fiery Foods" but unfortunately "Fiery Foods & BBQ" stopped publishing a print edition a few years ago.

Rick Browne, Ph.B. is the editor.

Is there going to be an electronic version--like Kindle, newsstand, etc?   Hope so--don't buy magazines (or hard, soft cover books) anymore, either.   Let me know.   Much prefer to have things like that on my iPad.

It's an old photo taken in Hawai'i several years ago but it was the only photo I had of myself.

I hope the magazine does well. Rick is a really good guy and knows a lot about BBQ (after all he's a Ph.B. as I am). I've already written an article for the second issue on various grills.

I believe there is an electronic version available.
