Here we are at the work Christmas Party 2013. A night out away from the kids is a GREAT thing. She is expecting our 4th child, due in June. We just found out that it will be a girl. That makes G,G,B,G. Atleast I got a boy squeezed in the middle there.

Yes. Just north of Portland Oregon. We like it here, can get a little gray and wet but salmon steelhead elk golf no poisonous spiders or snakes. Lived in puyallup when I was young. Dad was in the military.
Yes it is a track. Dad fell off a ladder a few years back and broke his back. Has a track vehicle to get around in the woods and sand. Pretty cool thing.

Same here, Smoke...will take one this weekend.
I got a Nikon CoolPix L520 for Christmas. It has "portrait" mode so I can get Deb and me together...you'll see I married way yonder up.
More importantly, it has FOOD mode. Now, hopefully, my cooks will turn out lookin' as good as some others I've seen with their "food mode" cameras.
BTW, it also takes awesome full HD videos...maybe I can post a "sample" soonly.

Smoke, thanks for starting this. I am really enjoying this post. It shows that we are all from different walks of life and have all kinds of interests but we all love the joy of cooking. I like seeing a face with the member and their families. I encourage others to join in and share.

Got tired of waking up under the bed with a head that hurt like H#LL ??? ???
No really, got drunk when I was at my cousins wedding and stayed sick 2 days, went to hockey goalie camp the Monday after and then was hit right between the eyes with a 100mph puck. Broke my helmet, my will to live for sometime and I said if I ever get feeling better I wont touch the hard stuff again.

No really, got drunk when I was at my cousins wedding and stayed sick 2 days, went to hockey goalie camp the Monday after and then was hit right between the eyes with a 100mph puck. Got tired of waking up under the bed with a head that hurt like H#LL ??? ???
No really, got drunk when I was at my cousins wedding and stayed sick 2 days, went to hockey goalie camp the Monday after and then was hit right between the eyes with a 100mph puck. Figured I would update since this thread popped back up. This is me and my amazing girlfriend Kimberly. We have been together for close to two years now and no regrets. She is the best thing that has happened to me since the birth of my children. My avatar is of me with my two kids Wyatt and Alexandra :)

I had one of my Keg Forum brothers join this place a while back but he never posts, his name is Focuspuller and he was part of the film crew for Tombstone. He has LOTS of great stories about that and many other films and TV shows he's filmed. Maybe he'll see this post and it'll light a fire under him to share ;)

Hoping to start an ongoing thread that'll allow us to get to know one another a bit better. Some of us have been here awhile, while others have recently jumped onboard. I realize that most forums on the net are filled with “one topic like-minded people” that don't really know a lick about the people they converse with... I suggest we do what we can here to change that :)
As I start this thread, it is my hope that most, if not all of you will introduce us to you and your family through a "family portrait." And, of course anything else you want to share would just be gravy as we get to know the men/women behind the “posts”.
I'll start. This is my family. My wife and I (going on 24 years), along with our 9 (yes, 9) daughters... 8 through adoption.... and 1 grand daughter. Yep, I am outnumbered big time...lol. It is challenging and rewarding at the same time!! However, I know that I am blessed beyond blessed, and one of the numerous ways that I enjoy serving my girls, is through providing the best possible eatin’ I can.

Gotcha! Yeah, we have 3 adult children now. Two of them are no longer living at home. Sure does change the dynamics of the relationship (In our case, one for the better and the other for the worse). Our second oldest (22) is currently out sowing her wild oats. Lots of people praying for her :)

Obviously I don’t know your story, and it may be completely unrelated to my experiences... but having lived in the world of foster care for the past 20 years, I always admire grandparents that step up to the plate when there is a need. It’s a lot of work and very exhausting, but what a blessing you are to Maci :)

When we were getting married..he told the guys at work that I was 39 years old..he was 55 and they teased him about robbing the cradle..I told him to tell them I was knocked up, he wouldn't do it because they were all having grandkids at the time..he knows me now and would do it, but back then..LOL

You may notice in any pics of me that I am Blonde, Ver. 2.0....yes - the color is directly attributed to the toughest job you will ever love...parenting. For some it changes our hair color...for others...the hair runs away! 8) 8) 8)

LOL! No hair is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I can be up and ready to head out the door in 5 mins (assuming I showered the night before...lol)! Windy days, blah...they mean nothing now (no more bad hair days...lol). Plus my girls love to rub my head now :)

I will confess to you that I am a bit envious....You are uninfluenced by fad and fashion...Hats always fit consistently, and your cost of maintenance is lower.
I had a fiend once that was very hairy. He contracted Alopecia...and lost ALL hair on his head and body. He was grief stricken, and mournful about it for...about 90 days. Then he began to realize that there were several advantages....
So a few years later - all of his hair grew back. Now he is perturbed with having to deal with having hair again! :D :D :D :D
Our temporal, carnal existence is often more about our reaction to the ebb and flow of the waves we ride...that the self-delusional belief that we "control" our lives..... ;) :)

At 6'7" I've kinda gotten used to being seen as a fairly decent sized man. My wife is 6' and is used to the same. But, the Castille region of Spain is very "pure blooded"(not very tall) Spanish folks and they stared at me like I was Shrek invading the village where ever we went and the old women REALLY stared at my wife.
After 8pm and a few bottles of wine later and I had old women standing back to back with me with their husbands taking pictures to show their relatives "the giant American" they encountered. I've never fell in love with a PLACE like I did Northern Spain. It may have to do with their love of pig. LOL!

I've been to Segovia (went there in 2001 before I ran with the bulls in Pamplona). It's a very lovely place, and the castle I visited was spectacular.
