Wow! That's just not a nice cook, but what a set up they have one can only dream of that kind of an outdoor kitchen!  Not sure who's kettle that is, Weber? Doesn't look familiar especially with that back hinge maybe home built not sure, but I am looking forward to your video...

In the video they ARE using a Weber...it's a 26" with another accessory - a stainless steel hinge that locks in the open position.  I don't know where they got it

The hinge is from www.unknownbbq.com

Yeah, I've got them on my two WSMs and they work great.

Warmin' up the YouTube, waiting for

BD

I see they one for ugly drum smokers, wonder if it would work on the PBC ?

The original Facebook video shows a version for the Weber 22.5 and one for the 26.75.  So the first thing would be a size issue.

They did mention a future version for the Akorn, so, who knows?

My goodness, just after purchasing the pellet, this item surfaces. Watched a few videos on setup, one which shows covering the hibachi with foils to shield infrared during a slow cook; what happens to all the drippings from the meat? I could foresee a total mess...
