Anyone doing a ham on the PBC.
« Reply #-1 on: November 20, 2016, 12:12:04 PM »
Really wanted to cure my own but I procrastinated so it looks like store bought it is.  Anyone have any experience? I of course have watched Noah's video. Just wondering if anyone else has done anything different.

I did one a bunch of years ago on the original PBC it was store bought and it was spiral cut ( try to stay away from that) I rubbed it with mustard and brown suger and kept it low and slow with some apple wood it did develop a pretty nice crust and was kinda double smoked didn't turn out bad and all said they liked it. If I did t again I would make sure not to get a spiral cut and would try on the kamado better control of low and slow.  Good luck!  :)
