Hurricane Irma Update
« Reply #-1 on: October 06, 2017, 11:20:27 AM »
I don't believe that Irma was as bad as Matthew last year, but we received a lot more damage this time. We had to replace the roof and my BBQ canopy.
Insurance company was excellent and paid for everything with no deductible. Very pleased with Farmers Insurance. Here are some before and after photos
of our home.

Before:

After:

Once the roof was done we power washed the house and it looks new again! Hopefully we have seen the last of the hurricanes this year.

Good for you Mike, smart guy..I lost my entire RV last year after it got broke into and left open for the winter..I got exactly what I put into it, except a lot of work, but no deductible either..can't believe the people that don't insure their stuffs.   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Glad to know Farmers took care of you. Have you ever heard of Foremost? They insure only Mfg homes. Might want to check them out. I know you are happy with Farmers but every once in a while I shop around and make sure I am not overpaying.

Lets hope for no more 'canes. Sure like the BBQ Canopy  :)

Mike, your house looks like brand new. You did a good job. Glad your insurance made you whole again. Love your BBQ area. I know that is where the magic happens.
