With the new simple machine format I can't post my avatar from my ipad :'(
I don't have a regular computer at home , anyone with ideas?

File uploading of any type is not supported through browsers on iOS devices.

I was curious because I have been wanting an iPad.
Apparently, Photobucket has an app that you can use to upload photos.

I have no clue if it is a good app or not or how easy it is to use.

I think you can use the photobucket app to upload from the iPad to photobucket.  From there, you can link your photo as your avatar.

Susie, the iPad has replaced 90+ % of our computer usage.

Good to know.  I got tired of being in another room with my iMac and moved it into the living room but I still think I'd rather a portable.  Was considering an iPad vs a laptop.

My daughter got an iPad through work, & my son uses one exclusively ( with keyboard case) at medical school. They neither one have a working laptop so it's all they use , with an iMac already I'd get an iPad of I were you! New iPad due out in early march, I'd hold off a couple months.
I knew you were a GOOD PERSON, wife has had saints season tickets for over 25 years!
