Grilling Lights
« Reply #-1 on: June 13, 2012, 05:39:05 PM »
Over the years I've tried several grill lights with mixed results, so about 10 years ago mounted 4 (500) watt halogen lights @ the 4 corners of my deck.
Two under the eaves of the house on motion detectors & two mounted on 16 foot poles.
Plenty of light to cook & prep!
Really made outdoor cooking easier after daylight savings time is off.

Nothing like having enough lights!
We just recently did something similar -and man! Does it make a big difference. Sure make for less drop meat - and fewer burns - huh?

Great Idea. I want to do some kind of patio for my grills. I'll be keeping this in mind.

Only pesky problem is those planes trying to land on your deck.
