PBC Comes through with flying colors!
« Reply #-1 on: September 10, 2015, 08:34:03 PM »
I've been having incredible success with the Pit Barrel Cooker and a couple of weeks ago I wanted to see just how much I could pack into it before it would give up the ghost.  Followed Noah's lighting instructions like always, I use the chimney method, and when the coals got grey I loaded it up.  4 half chickens, 4 ears of corn, 4 sausage and a 3 pound pouch of Redskins with beans and bacon.  Put the lid on and after my three hour nap it was all done.  And....the coals were still hot enough that I corked it for the night.  I am a PBC believer!

Yea Papa you are hooked...people still don't believe how much food the PBC will hold. I have had mine for a while and still haven't mastered the Chimney method of starting...I have had good luck with the fluid method.I guess I don't have the patients. lol  ;D
