Beef and Beer and strawberry salad.

It was 90 degrees here in cottage country today so I thought a nice salad and some Beef ribs and Beer would be appropriate for the occasion. First I dusted a rack of Beef ribs with some Magic Dust and set it on the Akorn at about 250 -260 degrees.
Then the wife and I picked up 1/2 dozen limes and then went to the Beer store and got a case Brava (same as Coronas but a lot cheaper). The ribs were done in about 41/2 hours. We made a strawberry salad with Kale, bacon, avocado and homemade poppy seed dressing. The ribs were meaty and tender and the salad was perfect. The Akorn as usual kept perfect temperature with the Tip Top Temp gizmo. It was a very nice afternoon with the food, drinks, music and conversation.

Now the money shot.

Here's the real money shot

THAT looks fantastic!!  I'd have to pass on the beer (my gout doesn't like it), but the rest I could eat.
