Fantastic review Mike!
I think your pizzas looked great-
Makes me want one now. I love home made pizza. Next time you make the pulled pork one - throw some dill pickle slices on there, kinda like peperoni. The sour/dill of the pickles plays nicely with the sweetness of the Sweet Baby Ray's. SOmetimes I will grill some onions first, and put them on the BBQ pizza too.

Great review Mike.  It looked a little complicated in the assembly but you said the instructions are good so that should take care of it.  How long did it take to get it to you after ordering?  Dee

Very nice review Mike. Excellent results.

I use the metal peel. What I do is a light coat of flour just to turn the peel white and then I sprinkle corn meal on the peel. After I enlarge the dough to the size that I want, I move the dough to the pizza peel. Then I build the pizza on the peel. Once completed, I slide the pizza on to the stone in the Kettlepizza oven and let it sit until the bottom crust firms up enough to rotate. You'll get use to this.

In so far as assembly goes, very nice job. I personally, do not have the patience for this anymore. Perhaps to old and decrepid. I guess, if I can't just pick it up and put a magazine in it, toss the back the slide, it is too complicated for me anymore.

Great job!

Ed

Great review Mike! And as far as the shape of those pies... if your very first try was edible it's a big WIN in my book.

It took a little over a week to get it. The delay was caused by customs. The owner was in constant contact with me by email updating me when it would be shipped. I appreciated that. Good customer service!

Great review, muebe. For your peel - pz is right, wood is best for loading the pizza - always use some corn meal or semolina under the pie as you build it or load it on the peel - oil will stick - anything wet will stick. Corn meal and semolina act like little ball bearings. Then metal is good for moving it around and removing it from the oven. Good luck and keep cooking pizzas!

Thanks for the advice Ed.

As far as assembly it may look complicated because of so many pictures in my post but it is actually very simple. It takes 12 minutes to fire up. Not any more difficult than manually lighting a pellet grill or a AMZNPS. The only assembly required are the legs and handles. The air tunnel and hopper slip on and off.

This thing is literally the most portable cooking device I own. Going to be fun making pizzas when camping ;)

Sounds like it would do a flatter bread like focaccia quite well, and of course, calzones.

Would need to make round focaccia instead of the square we did (just because it fit onto the pan  ;D)
...these should fit just fine.  For me a calzone is essentially  a pizza pocket filled with anything you would normally put on a pizza.  We used the residual heat of the oven after we were done with the main pizzas to make these babies - then froze the for eating at work

Success!!! Thanks for all your help!

Mozzarella, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms...

And a slice left from the pepperoni pizza. It got devoured by the kids. This is what was left when I finally got a chance to take a picture...

They were really good!
