Homemade sausage hanger for my Bradley
« Reply #-1 on: January 05, 2014, 04:43:18 PM »
I was looking for a sausage hanger that I could adjust based upon the size of the sausages. Couldn't find one so I decided to make one.
Saw one that someone made with wood and dowels. So I decided to copy it. The one I saw had wooden hooks screwed into it. I decided to use hangers that could slide across the dowels.

Here is a picture of the "fit check"

Here it is assembled.

Installed. Notice it is a little crooked but I didn't have a drill jig so I did my best, which was good enough. Besides it was cold in the garage.

Well that's all folks.

Looks like a great idea. I bet if you flip one of the ends around it would level out.

No- because the holes are not evenly spaced from both sides of the ends so the holes won't match up. (It was cold in the garage so I went for "good enough." If it gives me problems that are sufficient enough to bug me, I make a more "dimensional correct" one.)
