We leave Tuesday morning for a detour through Hamilton Missouri to  spend the day at the 11 quilt shops in town. Then on to Paducah Thursday morning.

And the pilgrimage begins!  Some folks are already on the road making their way to Paducah for the 22nd BBQ on the River.  I just heard from the folks over at Kirchhoff's bakery, a local 5th generation bakery situated in downtown Paducah in the heart pf the Festival.  They are going to send some goodies our way.

Heard from the organizers of the event that they may send the media over to do a story on the group coming in from 7 states.

Latest weather forecast calls for the highs to be around 90.  Lows will be in the 60's.  With the festival being located on the TN & OH rivers, downtown will be cool in the evening.
