BACON PANCAKES....???
« Reply #-1 on: December 10, 2011, 10:25:54 AM »
Rick - (admin) sent me a picture from Facebook where someone made these...I looked for it on FB - but could not find any info. The thought...How hard could it be anyway?
And it turned out GREAT. This is a keeper for me!

The Mrs. cooked the bacon on a flat griddle, then poured the pancake batter over each strip. Treated this just like cooking pancakes. Nothing more.

The next time I try it I am going to use some of the Super Pig, candied bacon! That ought to kick it up ten or six notches ;D

The girls are gonna LOVE this - might even beat out the chocolate chip pancakes they've been "ordering" for the past few weeks!

Thanks!  BTW - anyone ever make biscuits with chocolate gravy?

That is great!

It makes more room on the plate for more bacon on the side :)
