We're investigating Google+ as a way to coordinate seminars (sausage making, etc.) and have general meetings.  Are you on Google+?  Would you be interested in this feature?

I am on google+ but don't really use it. I made an account for different reasons. I did see Barry on there and added him to my "circle".

I'll admit it's kinda overwhelming to stay up-to-date on all the social media apps and web sites. 

We're thinking the Google+ Hangout feature is one that members could sign on for (it's free) and enjoy short scripted presentations followed by live Q & A.  Not sure if the whole endeavor is worth the effort --- or if the Google+ is more pain that plus!   8)

Blogs are not that chat friendly so I thought if someone wanted to discuss anything about cooking we could do it in G+. It never has worked out too great. Every month google gives me 3 members I might want to invite in, never once have they recommended anyone interested in cooking! Maybe I am just not savy on getting it to work. Don

I think my G + account is still active...haven't used it much because those in my "circle" haven't used it much.
I didn't know there was a feature like the one Barry is describing.  Might be helpful - I need all the help I can get.
