Tips on using the "Tube" inna SRG?

Anybody got some tips for me on using the tube in the SRG?

Well you will need to lay it on it's side.

Use a torch to get it going and let the end burn for close to 10 minutes before blowing it out.

Make sure to position it so it is not located where grease or juices are going to drip on it. You might want to make some sort of foil tent above it to protect from this.

I tried my 9 in tube on the botton and had issues.  Either grease would drop on it or it just didn't get the air flow I needed.   Check your email

one thing is I'm attempting to use a product in a cooker it was not designed for...so that's the first hurdle.

I tried to use my square one on my srg but could not get it to stay going. I put a tent over it with foil to keep drippins off it. Seemed to me like it wasnt getting any air. Maybe leaving the top open woulda helped. Only tried it once.  :P
