Weather for the Gathering
« Reply #-1 on: September 22, 2013, 07:20:56 PM »
It looks like the weather is really going to be great. It's projected to be clear with the day time highs in the mid 80s and the lows in the low 60s.  So that means shorts and sandles if you want.  I'd bring a light jacket or something similar because there maybe a breeze off the lake and a little chill in the air in the morning.

If the Turtle were coming he'd bring a parka.

Dee

Yep, I was looking at the forecast this morning as well.  Looks like it will be a great weekend weather wise.

Heck - if the Turtle was coming - he would be in hibernation mode.... :D

If the turtle were coming he'd buy the winning raffle ticket and smuggle that PBC home as a"spare"shell (better to sell $5-10 raffle tickets than have a silent auction where all attendees may not be able to participate).

Thanks for the offer but shipping would be a pain and likely cost prohibitive.  But I still think the raffle is a good idea - every attendee gets to support the program with at least one chance to win something worth far more than the cost of their ticket(s). Just sayin'.

The raffle is sounding better and better as I'm having trouble finding Blue Horse notebooks.  Dee
