The PBC arrived a couple of weeks ago and it took three days before I had the time to take it out of the box. I know some of you have already thrown your monitor across the room at such a delay on my part, but life has been on the busy side. I figure if I take care of my family now, I'll have someone to cook for later.
The first obligitory chicken, which was very good. It not saying a lot, but best I have done.
The second was a pork shoulder picnic roast something. I only say "something" because I really didn't have a goal or a plan for that matter. It was strangely good though, but I think if I had cooked it longer it would have been pulled pork rather than a really good roast.
In my day job I am an engineer, but I don't want to get technical with my food. The journey is the fun part, so the PBC is working out for me.
