First Cook

The PBC arrived Friday shortly after noon...plenty of time to go grab a bird for dinner  :). It turned out a pretty good first attempt. My wife went out and bought a couple of more birds - not sure if it was because she enjoyed it or if she thinks I need the practice  :-\

The PBC is one great chicken cooker for sure!

My first chickens fell into the coals. It was my fault. I used one hook on each whole large bird.

I caught them right after they fell and still ate them anyway ;)

So that's how you make blackened chicken in the PBC.  :P :P :P

Very nice looking chicken. If I had to guess, I'd says your wife is asking you to make more 'cause you did so well!

Good looking chicken.
I always found there is no need to brine chicken when cooked in the PBC. They always come out very moist

No, it was straight from the package, sprinkled with PBC all purpose rub and hung out to cook. Kept it as simple as possible for my first attempt.
