Day Lilies Like the Rain

Too much rain; some of my flowers have been getting too much and are not doing great. I will be lucky to get and good tomatoes this year from my garden. My Day Lilies seem to like the rain. My two melon colored ones have been putting out daily blooms for a month now. The two yellow ones on the sides just started to bloom today.

Looks like the yellow ones have well over 100 blooms each. They came from a start our daughter gave me; I divided them once. She got the lily bulb for doing volunteer work at her church. You can see in the photo it has rained so much I have not had time to keep the dead ones pulled off of the melon ones.

I get two months of large beautiful flowers to look at from the 4 lily plants and always enjoy them while sitting outback relaxing or sitting on my smoke deck cooking.

Love day lilies.  We have a variety of colors in our flower beds, too.
