1st breakfast on the flat top
« Reply #-1 on: April 30, 2016, 09:23:04 AM »
What to do when you find out late in the week that your employer needs you to work on Saturday morning? Well, fortunately, I can do my job from home...so, time to fix up a big breakfast!

The eggs showed me that griddle is not as level as I thought it was!

Time now to sneak out for a few minutes and clean up the mess.

It was a mess of food, pappy!
Pretty happy with how it turned out, except I'm buying better bacon next time.

It's cold and damp here this weekend.  :(    And that looks like the perfect picker-upper!

It's chilly here today too. It looks like I just got the clean up done before the rain came. Perfect timing for a change.

Love me that kind of breakfast...especially on a misty mountain morning.

Check these out.....from an old fry cook to you:  http://www.amazon.com/Egg-Poacher-Rings-Stainless-Steel/dp/B01B08WAOY/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1462032227&sr=8-9&keywords=egg+ring

Thanks Smoke!
I kept meaning to check for something like that. But I kept forgetting. They should be here Monday. :-)

And my pizza peel should be here tomorrow. If the weather cooperates, I'll check out the pizza oven accessory.

That one is going to go on the list too.

I've been thinking about doing a pork belly at some point. Hopefully this summer.
