Looks great! Yup, I love my "maintenance free" deck and railings. Like pappy i just power wash them each year. I was lucky enough to have a neighbor that was working at a lumber store that was closing. Asked him to get me enough decking for a 16X16 deck. Came home that day to a driveway full of decking, he gave me what they had left. Was more than enough to do what I needed plus 10X22 plus the stairs, and still had left overs.
I paid 400 bucks.  8)

Been living here 33 years and replaced deck three times before going with Trex about 5 years ago.  Texas sun shows no mercy. Told wife after I'm gone she can replace me twice and still not need a new deck.  ;)

I hear you, I figure another twenty or so years left in me so Trex was a no brainer

Deck is facing West.  Really hot during the summer but at night and fall/winter it's perfect!   Should be completed just in time for Sparky and his wife when they stop by in June
