6 Baby Backs on the Pit Barrel
« Reply #-1 on: July 14, 2017, 06:00:03 PM »
Doing 6 racks of Baby Back ribs tomorrow on the Pit Barrel. I've done 1 at a time and 2 at a time but never 6. I'm trying to get a handle on the time frame. They wont be foiled. So right from the fire to the plate after a rest. The temp will be about 80 degrees if I can believe Mr. 50/50.  Will I be in a 4 hour time frame or perhaps longer.
Thanks for any advice...charlie

I did 3 racks yesterday and they took about 4 hours. I would think that 4-5 hours would be sufficient. Always hard in trying to time it for coming off grill to table.

Good luck and let us know if you noticed a difference with this much meat hanging.
