Hard Eight Pit BBQ in Dallas
« Reply #-1 on: February 09, 2018, 08:09:17 PM »
Found my self in Dallas this week. A local person I had lunch with picked this place. Right in the front door you see some of pits doing their magic. Then you make your way through the line and pay by the pound for the meat you want that is cut to order. I had brisket, turkey and sausage. It was all very good. I actually think the sausage was my favorite.

No idea of the local reputation of this place, but I liked it.

I sure as heck would have liked to see you, and one of the Hard 8 locations is right up the street from my office.  I think Hard 8 is decent but very overpriced IMO.  Depending where you were, there might have been better options close.
