Title: Blue Moon BBQ Sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings

My brother recently had Buffalo Wild Wings' Blue Moon BBQ Sauce.  He tried to replicate it at home with a 12oz bottle of beer in an 18oz bottle of KC Masterpiece sauce.  He said it didn't have nearly enough Blue Moon flavor.  Does anyone here have any ideas?  I Googled a recipe and the first recipe had cherries and all kinds of other junk in it.  BWW sauce definitely did not have a cherry flavor to it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Every clone recipe I have seen has cherries or cherry preserves in it.
