I followed Hub's Super EZ Pastrami recipe http://www.letstalkbbq.com/index.php?topic=407.0 (http://www.letstalkbbq.com/index.php?topic=407.0) exactly as printed. I just pulled this baby out of the oven and you expect me to wait 30 minutes for it to rest before slicing into it. My Irish Setter doesn't like waiting either, his nose is right up to the counter sniffing the pan.
:P

Go take a run around the block. Not only will it kill time, but it will get your metabolism going too.

We just got back, I took the dog for a walk so neither one of us would be tempted while it was resting. ;D

LV Cajun........you're a better man than me! I made it 8 whole minutes!!!!!! And was very glad I didn't wait! 8)

We made it through the slicing without eating all of it, I let the hound have one slice and I had about 4 or 5 or 6 or heck I don't know I lost count after that.
:P
This EZ Pastrami is Irish Setter approved, he's looking for another slice. ;)

Now you are learning an "inside trick" to domestic tranquility...and how to get her to agree to a new cooker! ;D 8)

That looks great, give the dog a few more pieces he deserves it for not reaching up to the counter and stealing it. ;)
-
Looks great Cajun!!! I knew you would like it, a good recipe! Did you already have a Guinness when you took the plated photo? Don

A Guinness.....No several Guinness' by that time, it takes about a case of Guinness to get through the preparation and cooking stage of this recipe. :P
