Skirt Steak Dinner
« Reply #-1 on: January 11, 2015, 09:13:49 PM »
Rummaging through the freezer, I came across some skirt steaks. Thought about it a bit and decided to do it this way:
Some risotto on the plate.
Topped with slices of grilled steak.
Topped with some sauteed mushrooms.
Topped with a little butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika sauce.

Here is the result.

This one is a keeper and will be made again.

Looks fantastic Gus. Have you a recipe you can share for the paprika sauce? I like the sound of that!

Sauce recipe:

3 Tbs Butter-unsalted
3 Cloves Garlic
0.75 Tsp hot Paprika
1 Tbs Lemon juice
In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook over low heat, stirring, until golden, about 3 minutes. Add the paprika and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Remove from the heat, stir in the lemon juice and season with salt;
