Deer and hog

 Last evening was 40 degrees out so I decided to grind and cut up last weekends deer .  I added some bacon ends for better fat to both burgers and sausage.
Hope to get more this evening or tomorrow. This rain should provide a real nice cold damp situation this evening.
 Hopefully another deer or two before season ends  and a hog on the feeder should be easy , maybe , I flat out missed one the other night. Shooting a new short shotgun and it shoots high or I do...did... 
 Hogs in the woods are proving a bit more of a challenge..  But one way or the other sausage they will be....  
 The two in the picture are mom and pop we think. the others tend to be red and much smaller.

Hogs can be a real challenge when hunting        I prefer have mine bought at the store  safer that way

Good luck on both the deer and hogs!  Sure you'll get used to the new shotgun before too long.
