Adobo sauce
« Reply #-1 on: April 27, 2016, 05:43:34 AM »
Got from a friend a box of red jalapenos .
so on my list is to do another batch of sriracha and to try to do Adobo sauce .
IN fried one chopped onion 2 cloves of garlic ,till soften ,
added
few cloves
2 tsp of cumin
1 salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup of apple cider vinegar
1 cup of water
20 dry smoked jalapenos
i allowed it simmer for 1 hour .
After an hour i blend it to a runny paste and continue simmering till thicken .
OMG first you taste the sweetness then comes the heat then the spices .
This is a keeper .
